"Baseball has been very good to me." Roberto Clemente said it first and the message echoes through the voices of Lon Simmons, Bill King and Lou Gehrig, as they describe how lucky we are to be seduced by a summer afternoon...green grass, the pungent odors of hotdogs and beer, the crack of horsehide against hickory, chatter from veteran infielders who get paid for playing a young man's game...and to quote the late, great, Ted Williams: "Baseball gives every American kid not just the chance to be as good as everyone else, but to be better than everyone else."

We invite you to be a designated hitter...to visit our seventh annual baseball exhibition and view the magic and color that 35 artists produced...men and women from different ethnic backgrounds and cultures, who became our teammates and have created a panorama that transforms an art gallery into the Art of the Game.
