artist artwork
Jason Robichau is an artist from Houston, Texas now residing in Phoenix, Arizona. His paintings unite two of his passions: sports and art. Jasonís paintings incorporate elements of mosaic and perspective to achieve a form of realism that he refers to as Illusionism. With tiny hand-painted squares, Jason fashion works that change from collage to image as one moves away from the artwork. In addition to his Illusionism technique, Jason has also begun working in a style that uses metallic gold and bronze paint that gives the artwork a modern yet timeless feel.

Jasonís work has been shown at the National Art Museum of Sport (Indianapolis, IN), American Sports Art Museum and Archives (Daphne, AL), George Krevsky Gallery (San Francisco, CA), Xanadu Gallery (Scottsdale, AZ), and Image Gallery (Edmond, OK). He has done work for over 12 professional sports teams and universities and his work is owned by numerous athletes and celebrities including: Faith Hill & Tim McGraw, Mike Krzyzewski, Roger Clemens, Fleetwood Mac, and Yao Ming.
